Bob Marley and The Wailers is a reggae band that has been around for many years and since the lead singer is passed away, they are no longer together. When in their prime, Bob Marley and the Wailers were making music history with songs like “Get Up Stand Up” and “Rasta Man Chant”. These songs are smoothly sung, have a beautiful rhythm, and talk mostly about loving the world and each other. When Bob Marley sings you want to forget all your troubles and just listen and enjoy the music. Songs that Bob Marley wrote like “Is This Love” and “Don’t Worry Be Happy” are commonly known all over the world as his best work. When Bob Marley separated from the rest of his band and made the album Uprising he proved that even though he was older and weaker physically he was stronger artistically. Uprising represents pure reggae by introducing an earthly tune to his music. Every song on this album is good but Bob Marley’s next album, the one he did before his death, was the biggest hit yet. Dreams Of Freedom was his biggest and his last but overall the most touching because you could tell that Bob Marley put his heart and soul into singing the songs. When Bob Marley died his music didn’t go with him, new albums came out and the best one yet included guest musicians like Eric Clapton and his family members Damian and Stephan Marley. The album was called Africa Unite: The Singles Collection and consisted of the song that Bob Marley had done in past years, but revised and new beats added to the music. In my opinion this is Bob Marley’s best album was Natural Mystic because the beats were happy and bouncy, it had good rhythm and every song on the disc is exceptional.
