I agree with Bryan that Lil Wayne is the greatest rapper of all time. I like the point that he makes of Lil Wayne being religious because in multiple songs he mentions his beliefs briefly. Also it is easy to tell how he is feeling in his songs not only by the lyrics but also by the background beats that he puts in the song. Lil Wayne’s song “Tie my hands” talks all about Katrina and the damage it did to his neighborhood and also the friends that he lost. Wiz Khalifa is good comparison because even though they have similar styles in what they sing about but the way in which they present it is completely different. Another good song by Lil Wayne that I like is his new song “John” featuring Rick Ross. The beat to the song is so sick and the bass is so crazy. Another song that is good is “Every Girl” is has good lyrics and the beat to this one is also good. I agree with both King and the critics that once Lil Wayne gets out of jail he will kill it and that is exactly what he did. He got out of jail and got right back to making songs and going on tour. He immediately regained his spot on top once he left prison. Even while he was in jail the pre recorded songs that he did before he went to prison then released when he was in jail was genius. He made sure that even though he was locked up we didn’t forget he was the best. I definitely agree with Kinger that Lil Wayne is the best rapper in the game today.
