Jason Derulo is one of my favorite R&B singers. He sings Pop and R&B and puts it together to make it more interesting. His music just puts you in a comforting and soothing mood. My favorite song I always like to jam out to is “Riding Solo” because it talks about him and his girlfriend breaking up, and after the “break up” he feels like himself again! This song just kind of reminds you how sweet it is to be single and not have to worry about anything. If you look at this song in a different way, it kind of makes you want to get back with an ex or maybe even not be single and have a boyfriend. Jason Derulo’s songs always have different explanations for each song which makes them way more interesting. Jason Derulo’s song “In My Head” and Trey Songz song “Can’t Be Friends” reminds me both about see things in their head but actually can’t do it in real life. Both Trey and Jason sing R&B and about love songs, but their meaning of the songs are completely different! I was reading a review about Jason Derulo’s album called: Jason Derulo and they said it was very goofy for him to make his album title after his name. I strongly disagree with this, it was very gutsy for him to do that and plus he was being unique and who doesn’t like that? Jason was very creative for doing that as well as putting his face on the album that went perfectly well with his album title. They also say he is trying to figure out his voice, but that is okay because for every artist it takes time to do this, but you will be lucky if it comes natural. So in conclusion, Jason’s music is an outstanding piece of art which takes R&B and Pop and puts it together to make the songs he writes and sings. Hopefully you will all take a look at his music and I would like to hear you opinions about him!
