Young Jeezy is known as one of the most respected rappers of the 21st century. When Young Jeezy was about 20 he started making albums and submitted them to Def Jam records. When the editor heard them he signed Jeezy right away. Since then Young jeezy has written many albums such as The Recession , Thug Motivation 101, Thug Motivation 102, and the one he’s currently working on called TM 103. In my opinion Young Jeezy’s best album is The Recession because he raps about the recession that our country just went through. He also raps about the hurricane in New Orleans, people being too poor to afford things thery need to survive, and even how bad the president is. It feels like Young Jeezy has been poor in his life and knows what its like so he sets out to rap about it in most of his songs. In the song “Put On” Jeezy explains that hes down for his city and he will do anything to keep the people happy, (talking about New Orleans) even after the hurricane hit he opened up his home to people who needed to escape the area. Also, Young Jeezy has a smooth beat with a cool rap or in some cases a techno beat and mulitple artists rapping. In his album Thug Motivation 101 he has a lot of guest artists in his songs such as Lil Wayne, Young Joc, and T.I. This makes his music have variety because your not just hearing from one rapper your hearing from two or three.
The critics say that Young Jeezy is coming up in the music business and soon is headed for the top. I agree with this because it seems like everytime Jeezy comes out with another album or song its fresh and something that’s never been heard before. For Youing Jeezy there is a bright future in the music business.
