The band I chose would be Rascal Flatts. This is my favorite country band and the one I listen to the most. Gary LeVox is the lead singer in the band, Jay DeMarcus happens to do it all he plays bass guitar, keyboard, piano and he sings, and last there is Joe Don Rooney he is the lead guitar player and he also sings to. LeVox and DeMarcus are second cousins. I love Rascal Flatts music it is so deep and emotional but at the same time it’s upbeat and fun. They have music for everyone’s mood. They are a country band and I feel like all their albums are very well produced and all their music is very well written. I feel like they put a lot of thought, time, and feeling into all of their songs. One of my favorite songs by them would have to be “I Won’t Let Go”. It is a song about standing by someone through everything and not leaving there side. This song reminds me of my best friend and me. “I Won’t Let Go” explains our friendship and we listen to it all the time. The chorus is the best part of the song because it explains a lot and it could relate to a lot of different situations it could remind you of a friendship, relationship, Family member, and lots of others. The chorus goes “I will stand by you, I will help you through, when you’ve done all you can do and you can’t cope, I will dry your eyes I will fight your fight, I will hold you tight, and I won’t let go.” That pretty much explains how deep these guys get into their music. They have a huge selection to choose from and everyone can relate to their music, that’s why it makes them such a popular choice for many people.
