One group that I have listened to for a long time now is Linkin Park. They are a rock group that has a lot of unusual sounds and music in their songs. The theme for most of their songs is like a redemption feel. Their music makes me feel good and ready to play a game, go workout, and it makes me get over a bad mood I’m in. I truly think that they are a one of a kind band that makes one of a kind music in all of their albums and songs. One of my favorite albums they did was Minutes to Midnight. I think that this album is the best music that they have came up with in a long time and they need to keep making this type of music in their up and coming albums. If I had to compare them to another band, I would go with Nickelback. The songs that both of the bands do have very similar meanings to them and they both have great music to go along with the lyrics. The song “What I’ve Done,” is one of my favorite songs that they have done. This song is saying that you shouldn’t be looking back on what you have done in the past and you should move on from it and continue to live your life. I can also relate to this in my life by moving on from my mistakes, and learning from it. I agree with critics that they are a great band and have done a lot for the community and the music industry. After the Haiti earthquake a couple years ago, they set up a foundation and helped that country out a lot with all their donations. This just shows that they are all good and honest people that care about the world and its well being. In my opinion, Linkin Park is a great band that will continue to make great music for a long time and I would gladly pay money to see them.
