Lady Antebellum is a fairly new country band who goes in depth with every song that they have. They do a great job at portraying a good story line in each song. Each song that they have out shows a different emotion or feeling whether it be inspirational or sad. In my opinion they have one of the best varieties in music compared to most country singers. For example, Taylor Swift, whose songs are mainly about being young and in love. They have one song that really caught my eye the first time I saw it. It’s called “Hello World” which is about a man driving to work and a car passes with two parents arguing in the front and their little girl in the back seat eating her ice cream cone, waving and smiling at other cars. You can tell in the video by the look in his eye that it brightened his day a little bit. Towards the end of the video the same guy from the beginning is caught in a traffic jam do to an accident. When he gets out of the car to see what’s going on, he finds that same car that the girl was in is crushed to pieces. This video in particular always catches my eye and it’s very touching. Another song by Lady A that never gets old to me is “Lookin’ for a Good Time” which is more of an upbeat song. The song is pretty well explained through the title. It’s about going out and letting go and just having fun. Every review that I have seen about Lady Antebellum is extremely good talking mainly about the group’s diversity and meanings behind their songs. Even if you don’t like country music, I would still recommend Lady Antebellum to anybody that wants good music whether it’s slow or fast. I think overall their songs have great meaning and rhythm.
