Ever since Brad Paisley’s hit song “Mud on the Tires” in 2003, he has been a hot sensation in country music. People from ages three to eighty can enjoy his light-hearted music. He sings about regular life in the USA and that’s what gets his audience’s attention. When you sing along with his songs you are also able to relate to them. His new album Welcome to the Future was also in response to having a new president and looking forward to the brighter days ahead. One of his new songs “Anything Like Me” talks about Brad and his wife having a baby boy and how they are preparing for what he will grow up to be like. Many people can listen to the song and know what he is talking about whether you have already had kids, preparing for one, or wanting kids in the future. That is why Brad Paisley is so well liked. Keith Urban is also similar to Brad Paisley. He sings songs about dealing with family, relationships and broken hearts. In contrast to Miranda Lambert who has a little more twang, she sings about being in bars and living as a country girl. Brad has some country in him, like his older song “Tics” which is about going in the back woods and getting dirty, then coming back and checking the girl for “tics”. This is a memorable song for listeners because it’s one of his more energetic and fun songs. Like most country singers, his popular songs are about love. I would agree with SPIN Magazine that Brad Paisley is one of Nashville’s number one singers and the most consistent superstar. Brad Paisley is a great role model for lot of young people. I also think Brad Paisley is a great addition to country music and it definitely wouldn’t be the same without him.
