One of my favorite movies is Pirates of the Caribbean. In this movie a group of pirates are cursed and they are searching the sea for medallions that they sold off but need to lift the cures that makes them undead. They arrive in a port to find one of the missing pieces when they find their old caption Jack Sparrow. Jack Sparrow isn’t taken hostage but a girl named Elizabeth Swann is. A man named Will Turner wants to save Elizabeth teams up with Jack Sparrow who is after money team up to find Jack’s former crew. Jack Sparrow is played by Jonny Depp and out of all the characters that I have seen him play I think this is my favorite one. Orlando Bloom play Will Turner I like this character because he is a believable person. I think I like this movie so much because it has a lot of variety to it. Jack Sparrow (Jonny Depp) is a likeable character but this main motive for anything or what he wants most at the particular time. Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) on the other hand only wants to help Elizabeth and is more of a love story. The movie explores legends like the kraken and Davy Jones which also makes it more fun to watch and draws in people who like more of a mythical feel. People love Pirates of the Caribbean and there are two sequels Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. But I don’t think they will be done until the actors are a 3rd sequel is coming out soon called Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Orlando Bloom was not interested in making another movie but the best main character Jonny Depp is still here. If you have never checked out any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies they are definitely worth your time.

I agree with sharmarke will smith has done a fantastic job playing his character. When you watched the movie he made you believe that this was actually happening in manhattan. There are scenes where the movie gets very intense, like the scene where sharmarke talked about of the two daogs attacking sam. Will smith in this movie is very strong person. I said that because at the statred of the movie you will smith trying to get his family in to safety. At first its hard because there is a bunch of other who are trying to get their people to safety as well. He manages to get through and finally gets to the front. He gets into with the guards and goes to the helicopter and kisses his wife,daughter and her dog good bye. The daughter gives him dog and tells him to keep it. The helicopter takes, he things that his family is in saftey now but things turn for the worst when something goes wrong in the helicopter and blows up. Another scene where you see the character will is playing is strong when he realizes that the only company he had got infected,and he has to kill it. I recommend this movie too and I think people will enjoy

I agree with guest blogger 1 by Faisal. He said everything that need to be said about the movie, he explain what the coach did such as get a group of boys together and how he tried to help them by locking up the gym as they failed class. He also mentioned how people showed him respect by calling him sir. He also talks about how most of these kids grow up in the hood and how they didn’t care about school and they only went to school just to play basketball, he also talks about how kids gave him a hard time in the when he started out by being the new coach but he stood his ground and was strong on his word, finally when they knew there was no way around him they started doing well and getting everything done in school and on the court. He also talked about how Samuel L Jackson brought his character to life(Coach Carter). He also recommends this movie because he feels like it’s a great movie and he enjoyed it. I also watched this movie and I would tell everyone to watch it because it’s such a great movie with a lot of meaning.

This film takes place in the 1970’s and deals with the life of a news anchor in San Diego. They start off the film as the leading news team in San Diego and want keep it that way. The main character as it says in the movie is Ron Burgundy who is the anchor and also the other main characters are the sports guy and the weather guy and also the field agent. Everything was going just great until the network made them hire a co anchor who was a girl. She ends up being the lead anchor after a few mistakes by Ron. He ends up losing his job all together and becomes a slum and lives in the bar always drunk and eating bar peanuts. Until he gets a chance to show the birth of a panda at the San Diego zoo he ends up falling into a bear pit with Veronica the lead anchor.
The lead role is played by will ferrel. He plays a hilarious role and really makes the movie what it is. The other roles are Brick Tambland the weather guy who is really the idiot of the movie but in a funny way who is played by Steve Carroll. The sports guy is played by David Koechner who is a really funny guy and is inspired by his love for sports. Brian Fantana is played by Paul Rudd.
The theme in the movie is that people and the world has evolved and that women anchors are just a part of it other than that its really just to make people laugh.
If you haven’t seen this movie you need to see it its one of the funniest movies I have seen!

I agree with Ashley and keera about the movie “Finding Nemo. This movie can be enjoyed by so many people and ages. Two clown fish named Nemo the little kid with a short flipper is played by Alexander Gould his father Marlin, played Albert Brooks. On Nemo first day of school Marlin is so scared for his little fish because Nemo is all that Marlin has for family right now because of a situation that happened before Nemo was born. Everyone wished that Marlin can tell good jokes just because he is a clown fish but everyone shortly finds out that he isn’t so funny. During his school day nemo touches the “butt” which is a boat. Nemo is then taken from his Coral reef home. This is when the adventure of marlin and his new buddy Dory who is played by Ellen DeGeneres. Dory has a short term memmory lost and makes the adventure so worthwhile during their adventure. The movie Finding Nemo made about 339,714,636 in the box office which is better good. The movie was released to the public on May 30th, 2003. I agree with The Hollywood Reporter Sheri Linden. When she says that Finding Nemo is an exhilarating fish story is the perfectly cast comic adventure. From the New York Times they has that Finding Nemo is a world filled with nothing is imperfect. The adaption is exasperatingly brilliant, and the lovely storyline. I think that this bring a great journey through life down in the sea. I always had a bring smile on my face and laughing throughout the movie. Every character just makes the movie all so much better too see. I have seen this movie about 10 times since I seen it theaters and I still enjoy every minute of it. This movie is worth your time and money. So grab a bowl of popcorn and sit back and laugh.

Felon sounds like a great character driven movie. I think it would be interesting to see all the trouble that wade would go through to just to see his family again. It sounds like it would keep you on your feet for what is next. Felon seems to have a few good life lessons, showing that your actions can both lead you in to various bad situations, but also can get you out of all of those situations and fix the mistakes that you have made. I think I would be pretty interested in the movie the whole time. I also think that I would enjoy the movie and give a good review as well. Felon sounds like a movie that would interest anyone that enjoys fighting movies or action movies in general. I feel that Stephen who plays the main character did a pretty good job of doing so from what I have read, especially right before he gets out of jail. I would most likely be interested in other movies that Stephan Droff is in and hope that they would get as good of review as felon. I hope to see felon soon and am looking forward to it after this review.

I agree with haris that I am legend is a great movie because will smith is in it and he is a great actor. I also agree that he was a perfect fit for this movie because of his previous movies like bad boys and men in black all of those action movies he was in set an image for him so it made it believable he was all alone in the world fighting and studying these weird monsters. So that’s where I think you get the trait that he is brave fighting in those scenes. I also agree with your theme of sacrfice because he had to scrafice many thing things like his dog because the virus got to him. He also saraficed his life at the end of the movie to save the little boy and the woman. I agree with the movie crtics giving I am legend a very good movie rating. I don’t really agree with the monster things looking fake or making it sci-fi because I think that’s what humans would look like if they got infected so for me I thought it was all good. I agree with you that this movie is made well and should be worth everybody time and money.

I agree with Mickey’s thoughts on the movie Ever After. The plot is exactly how she told it. “Ever After” is about how an eight year old Danielle de Barbarac daughter of a wealthy widower and landowner. After her father returns home from France with his new wife Rodmilla and her two daughters, one who is really nice but the other one really evil. All of a sudden Danielle’s father dies and she becomes the servant for her stepmother and her step sisters. Even though this all happened she still became a happy and strong willed young lady. One day when she was picking apples she see’s a strange man attempting to steal her father’s horse. She hits the man right in the forhead and he falls off the horse. Soon then, she realizes the man is Prince Henry. Later, Danielle decides to use her mothers name, Contesse Nicole de Lancret to save one of her servants. After interuppting and telling the man to release her servant and talking to Danielle for awhile, the prince takes a special interest in her. Then the King and Queen of France give there son a choice to either he announces that he his getting engaged to a woman that he chooses or he has to marry the Princess of Spain. When he thinks of Danielle Henry agrees. The evening of the ball, her stepmother figures out the interests between Henry and Danielle and locks her in a room for punishment. Leonardo da Vinci free’s her and the manor’s servant gives her the dress and slippers, that they had hid. That night everything changes and her life becomes different. This film is filled with joy, happiness, intense moments and overall a great movie! Other critics agree that this movie is very good because James Berardinell says in his critic that he was prepared for the worst but then everything became better all at once. I agree with this because I felt the same way when watching the movie. I also agree with Mickey because she said that it’s a fairytale, and you learn that you have to follow your heart. Overall I think this is a great movie to watch!

I agree with Marissa that 13 going on 30 is a character driven movie. It is about a 13 year old girl who doesn’t fit in with the group she wants too, the popular ones. She wishes to be older and magically her wish comes true. While being 30, she realizes something very important. Jennifer Garner who plays the main role, Jenna, did an awesome job! I say this because Jenna’s character (as the 30 year old) is so fun, flirty, and lively and she plays that very well. I think she had an advantage because; her own personality is like that too. I agree with Marissa’s choice of theme, don’t wish to be older. However, I think another one would be, don’t wish to be someone you’re not. The only reason why she wished to be older is because she didn’t like herself at age 13. Jenna hated that she didn’t fit in with the popular group and she would risk anything to change that. Overall, I would pay money to go see this again and again. I say this because, along with good humor it has a very good story and message to be learned and reminded of while you watch it.

I agree with Courtney completely when it comes to the movie, “The Bounty Hunter.” The characters are played to perfection and the actors were chosen wisely. Jeniffer Aniston plays Nicole Hurly who is a reporter that got aressted and evenutally jumps bail. Her character is truly humerous when it comes to the action of the movie. When she jumps bail to the the things that she says, there really is no stopping Jeniffer Aniston because she plays the roll well. Milo Boyd is played by Gerard Butler who is overall sexy! That’s right sexy! His attitude towards his ex-wife is totally funny because he has this grudge after they got divorced that she only wanted her big hot shot career and eventually “stopped” loving him. Now he’s going to get her and he looks at this situation as the opportunity of a lifetime. Jason Sudeiki plays Stewart, who is an overly-obsessed coworker of Nicoles and he thinks they are in a relationship. He goes to the extremes when he enters her house and then he stalks milo to the racetracks where miss Hurley is. Anyways, I think his character is an awesome addition to the amazing cast. This is an extremely movie and highly recommended by me!

One of my favorite movies came out not to long ago its called inception. Inception is about people who go into other people’s dreams to find secrets or plant thoughts and ideas. In the movie people’s dreams take the shape of a city or something that is familiar to them. When a team of people enter a CEO’s mind to plant an idea to stop him from getting to much power they find out that his mind has been trained to stop exactly what they are trying to do and they end up fighting his defenses all the way to the forth level of his dream. Actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt do exhalent acting in this movie you expected Leonardo DiCaprio to do a great job but Joseph Gordon-Levitt was exhalent in this roll. Ellen Page was also good in her first more series roll that I have seen her play. Another reason I like this movie so much is because you find out about the characters more and more as is goes on. Some characters you lean what they are like right away but some are a bit more complicated than that. As for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character you find out more and more about him though out the hole move questions are presented at the begging like what happened to his wife and how does he know inception is possible. The movie slowly answers these questions as it goes on. At the end of this movie the director kind of lets you make the ending buy showing you Leonardo DiCaprio’s character coming home to his house but also puts suspicion that he may still be in a dream so it really makes you think. A lot of people have said that this is a great movie and I agree. Every once in a while a movie comes out that you really don’t expect to be that great for me Inception was one of those movies. Inception is one of those movies that will be watched long after its time and is definitely worth watching.

Fight Club is a character driven movie. It is about a guy who makes up a better version of himself. You don’t know at first that Tyler Durden is fake; you just think he is a friend. Tyler does all the things that he wishes he could. Tyler starts fight club and it gets to be a big group of guys who like to fight. They start to do some crazy things and the main character starts to realize how bad these things are. Edward Norton plays the main character that is schizophrenic. He is also seen in The Illusionist. He plays the main character Eisenheim. He is a really good magician and is very involved in his work. He plays more of a questioning character in Fight Club and in The Illusionist he is a confident character. Brad Pitt plays Tyler Durden. He is very confident and does what he wants. He is also in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and plays a positive spy. In both he is confident. The theme of Fight Club is that everyone wants to do everything they think of, but only the better people will not do the things that could get them in trouble. So the main character makes up Tyler. Tyler does everything that he wants him to and he starts doing things that could get him in trouble. In the end he over powers all the bad things Tyler is doing. This is a good movie when you understand it and it could take a couple of times watching it to fully understand.

I agree with lacy on how Forest Gump is a great example of a character driven movie. When I first watched it I got so addicted to it because it keeps me interested the whole time. It is a great example of a character driven movie because it fallows Forest Gump’s whole life and everything he does. I agree with Lacy on how I could watch this movie over and over again because of the awesome character portrayal, relatable situations, and inspiring life lessons. The theme of appreciating life how you have it is very strong and can relate to literally everyone who watches it. I haven’t heard of anyone who as seen this movie and didn’t enjoy it to a great extent. I mean what’s not to like? It’s funny, it has drama, it teaches good lessons, and it is appropriate for the whole family. If you haven’t seen this movie I defiantly suggest to rent it and watch it as soon as you can.

I agree with guled on the movie “Carlito’s way”, he is a very intelligent man when it comes to the streets of Newyork. He thought that he could change his ways right after he got out of prison but its gonna take a lot of time because he was struggling in finding a job. Most jobs never hired felons but his best friend is a lawyer named “David Kleinfeld”, and helped him find a job at a nightclub where he worked. I think that it’s a great movie because theres a lot of action and its an interesting movie. I think that people change everyday and for this guy to change was a big accomplishment because he was a big gangster.

The film focus on a group of friends who are in an important stage in their lives, they are trying to find which path to take in a world that has consumed their youth. Two of them are inspiring college students and one is a gangster. What I like about the film was that it made sure to not put focus on the underlying drama of teens suffering horrible urban conditions. It's not sugar coated, instead it tells the truth. A problem until this day is still a problem in our nation, teens killing teens, racism, drugs. Almost the only movie that depicts the "Hood" without any type of gimmick or secondary message. John Singleton did a great job at criticizing and humanizing the community and not just making it one big group of stereotypes.The performances are great and the visual style rivals Spike Lee at times. Many films are of their time, Boyz N the Hood is a film that seems to be just as relevant today, maybe even more so as the hot-blooded males represented and the short fuses they possess is common in most areas of society. Boyz n the Hood, despite the urban setting and characters involved in the world of gangs, doesn't play too deep into the racial elements. This is a relatively easy story to digest because it's not as heavy handed as some other "race" films and the writing isn't so one-noted. It has a purpose and a strong message.Best drama ever made about urban life in america. i would mostly agree that after this film the genre falls apart quickly, but to blame this film would be short sighted incredible film.

Aljosa wrote about the movie blood diamond. He wrote about that crazy exciting plot of the movie. I can’t even believe this actually happens in Africa. Tyhey are always in constant fear of your town (their village) being attacked by rebels with Ak-47’s and other assault rifles. This leaves the African completely helpless against attack. The diamond in the movie is huge. If I found that diamond I would probably cry. They cut of thief hand if they are caught as a punishment. Also the white man in the movie that in the beginning is just trying to make money and doesn’t care about anyone other than himself changes completely defending this African male in the beginning. They fight their way through the rebel bomb squad and get back to the Swiss diamond cutters only to get screwed over. Leonardo de caprio won an academy award for his acting in this great movie. Aljosa said he would recommend this movie for anyone and I would defiantly agree. The plot has a hard theme to grasp. The ending is the best part but I’m not going to ruin that for you. I would say go out rent or buy this movie and watch it and I guarantee you’ll love it.

I stongly reccomemend this moive, because I was seruiously laughing out loud, a few days before Doug is getting married, his friends Stu, Phil, and his soon-to-be brother-in-law Alan take him to Las Vegas for one last bachelor blowout. The next morning, the aftermath sets in as Stu, Phil, and Alan all try to piece together what happened the night before. Worse of all, the groom is no where to be found.Taking a bunch of man-children and walking them through a journey of discovery to fill in the missing blanks of the previous evening could go any number of directions, but what sets the film apart is its attention to detail. The plot is fueled by the most unlikely guys to save the day. Schoolteacher Phil isn’t a nice guy and is pretty full of himself. Dentist Stu is every bit the cowardly lion. And Alan is the last loser anyone would really think to spend quality time with. The one guy that seemed fairly decent and likable is the one who’s missing; none of the rest of them are likable enough to really care what happens to them, yet their the groom’s only chance to get back to his wedding on time.

I agree with Shermarke, I think I am Legend is a great movie with important themes. It deals with isolation and how far a man will go to survive. I like the part how he has all the manikins all set up because how he really is alone in the world until he meets the woman and her son. He would talk to the manikins to interact. Then through the whole movie he tries to find cure. Then he has the flashbacks on his life during the evacuations. Through the whole movie at least he had his dog Sam. I don’t know how long I could live my life not knowing if there are people alive or not. I also thought that Will smith was perfect for the movie. Then one of my favorite parts was the ending when he found the cur and was willing to kill himself to save the whole world and it reflects the title of the movie because it is what he became a legend.

Matilda is an astonishing movie about a 6 years old girl who has a hard time connecting with her family. She is elegant, tremendously sweet, and very brave. A grumpy couple gave birth to Matilda and her mean older brother. Matilda desires nothing more than to learn. Matilda persuades her father to take her to school. There Matilda meets Truchbull a horrendous principle who tries to make her school life miserable. I loved watching this scene I get a good laugh every time I see it. She starts to unintentionally unleash telekinetic powers that destroy a television and make a reptile fly on the principal. With enough practice, Matilda starts to learn to control her powers. I love watching her use her power against her family and Truchbull. I think her telekinetic power was a metaphor for her knowledge. Matilda aspiration to learn obliterates Truchbull out of everyone’s way. Matilda was a movie I find irresistible and would watch again. I agree with Alicia this movie does relate to many people. Everyone at least had a brother who had been mean to them or a teacher they really thought was excruciating. This movie has many things to offer. It inspired to never give up even though life gets difficult when unexpected. Also don’t give up because a teacher gives you a hard time or life might not be what you imagined. I agree with Alicia this movie is worth our time and money.

I have to agree with Shermarke about the movie I am Legend. It has to be one of the most interesting movies that I have yet to see. I’ve only seen bits and pieces of it but it definitely looks like a really good movie to see. One thing I would like to find out is why Will is the only person left alive in New York and how he survives. Another interesting thing about the movie is that it is set in modern time and the movie feels very real. The one thing I hope that doesn’t happen in the movie is the main characters dog dies. I always was sad when I see the main character’s best friend die from something it shouldn’t have died from. Or, I find it interesting when t he best friend all of a sudden turns on his friend near the end to make things interesting. I’ve always been one to enjoy action and after seeing a few scenes where he is alone in a dark building. Things get a little creepy because I kept seeing weird shadows pop in and out when the main character was trying to find something he was looking for.

I like the movie Step Brothers because its really funny and comedy is my favorite. In the movie Step brothers the main actors in the movie are Will Ferrel and John reilly. This movie is about two middle aged men whom still live at home one with his mom one with his dad. The mom and dad meet at work and stat to have a “fling” then the two grown “boys” are forced to live together and share a room. This being said the two boys arent very friendly, they fight about every little thing they can and if its not them fighting its them planning a prank on someone. The two of them are just like two little 1st graders, in one of the scenes they are walking past an elementary school and get j umped by the little kids. More towards the end the two end up realizing how immature they are and that its time for a change, they soon grow up to be responsible, respectful, and sucessful. I recommend this movie to anyone that is open minded or likes a good laugh. I enjoyed this film most I think because watching those two actors play the parts they did, which they did very well on which I might add. Its too funny to watch them act as childish as they did. Definitely a good movie and I recommend for everyone to watch it if you already havent.

I agree that Finding Nemo is a great character driven movie. The whole plot is formed off of one clown fish’s decision to prove his father wrong. Marlin and Nemo, a father and son with some difference in thoughts. After Marlin’s wife and their eggs were eaten, he has been especially protective of Nemo, who is the only surviving egg. Nemo has a small defective fin but manages to swim just fine. He wants to get out and explore like any other young person. Nemo is captured by some scuba divers, we learn that they are dentists, and he is put in a fish tank. The rest of the movie we spend following Marlin on his quest to find his son. He meets odd characters including Dory, a forgetful fish, and vegetarian sharks. I agree the theme of the movie is about father and son relationships. It’s also about children growing up and moving out. The voices for a movie, Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks, do an excellent job of bringing fish to life and making them relatable to people. Finding Nemo is a movie that is worth our time and money. It is a great film that both old and young will enjoy. -Karyn O.

I absolutely agree with guest blogger Bridget# 2. I believe Blind Side was a phenomenal movie. My favorite character in that movie would have to be Sandra Bullock's, Leigh Ann. She played that part very well. She was strict and determined. It was beautiful to see a woman to have that type of power. Big Mike was shy at the beginning of the movie, he didn’t talk much and if he did he would have this soft tone. Also I agree with Bridget he was a “Big Teddy Bear". Another good thing about the movie was the overall lesson to be learned. I learned a lot from watching this film. It made me want to help the less fortunate in any way possible. It was inspirational, I think what Sandra Bullock did in the movie was fascinating. She took in a random guy walking down the street and welcomed him to her house. She took care of him as if he was her own child. She provided him everything he needed to become successful. In this movie there were a lot of characters that made me laugh especially SJ, Sandra Bullock's son. He was just so cute, smart and very talkative. The relationship him and Michael had was captivating. They got along so well. They family in this movie was so supportive. They would go to all the games and defend there so called "Son", Mike. In the end Mike becomes this amazing football player and starts getting all these calls from colleges wanting him to play for them. He ends up becoming a first round NFL draft pick. I remember I watched this movie at the theatres and trust me I was not thinking about a refund. It was a great movie overall and would love to watch it again and again.

A character Driven movie that I love personally is the movie My Sister’s Keeper. This movie has inspired me because it’s about a family member that has cancer and the stress that they need to overcome and the strengths that they need to have to get through this terrible time called cancer. This movie speaks to me because I have a Great aunt that has cancer and she has recently lost her parents and all we can do is be there for her and I know that it stresses out my family very much. The main characters are in this film is the girl that has cancer and her character name is Katie Fitzgerald played by Sofia Vassilieva. Her younger sister Andromeda short for Anna Fitzgerald played by Abigail Breslin. The mother Sara Fitzgerald played by Cameron Diaz, Sara’s sister Heather Wohlqurst. Sare’s husband (father) Brian Fitzgerald played by Jason Patric. Their third which in the middle kid is Jesse who is played by even Ellingson. Anna is going through a journey trying to save her sister; she says she was born to cure her sister. Is that true? Does she save her sister? Watch the movie My Sister Keeper. You will learn all the mysteries. The movie My Sister Keepers made about 49,200,853 in the box office and aired for the first time June, 26th 2009. The New York Times say that “My Sister’s Keeper,” based on a best-selling novel by Jodi Picoult, is an unapologetic — shameless? Ruthless? — weepie, exploiting the grave illness of a lovely, lively, blameless girl from start to finish. I do have to say I disagree very much about this critic from the New York Times. Yes, this movie is based on someone live and the hard times her family has to go through but this movie can also bring joy to your face. I’m not going to lie this movie can make you cry. But at the night you are like “WOW” that’s a strong family, if they can come that any bump in the road will be easier for them to accomplish. I do think that this movie is worth your time and money since this movie came out I have watch it 3 times and now own the movie. So take a tissue box, sit down, and relax.

I agree with Melanie’s point of view of the movie My Sister’s Keeper. The plot of the movie is said in her blog. Anna the youngest daughter is forced to give up her body for her sister who is sick with cancer, but Anna can’t do anything about it. Kate and Anna talk about how sick Kate is getting and they both agree to have Anna stop giving up her body, because she has a better chance of living. The mom Sara acts blind to her son Jesse and her daughter Anna. Jesse tries to do anything whether its good or bad to get his parents attention. Anna has been forced all her life to give up her body for her older sister and Sara doesn’t realize what she is making her do. Sara just wants Kate to be as healthy as Jesse and Anna. I agree wit the theme Melanie picked for this movie “fight for as long as you can but at some point you have to give in to life and accept things for what they are because it brings up the character Sara (the mom). She is just helping out her daughter. Sara’s husband Brian finds out that Anna wants to stop giving up her body and he agrees to it because he understands that it’s not fair for her to have to keep doing this just because they made her for that reason specifically. Overall I think the movie is really good and also very sad. In fact I saw it three times and I cried every time.

Matilda is a very fun and enjoyable family movie. Matilda is about a young girl who gets abused, and mistreated, not only in her family but also at school. All Matilda ever wanted to do was to go to school. Matilda’s family is consisted of her dad, mother, and older brother. Her dad is a car dealer who cares about nothing but money. Her mom cares about nothing but getting money from the dad. Her older brother doesn’t really care about anything because he knows he is going to become like his dad. What they all have in common though is that they all don’t care about Matilda. Something about Matilda that everyone didn’t know was that she had amazing powers. Matilda’s dad makes a deal with a principle, and that got Matilda to get into school. The school on the other hand wasn’t a regular school. The school that Matilda went to was pretty much a nightmare. With the help of her teacher, Mrs. Honey, and her best friend, they seek revenge on the mean principle. I believe this movie is one of the best. I believe that because it is a fun and friendly movie that kids and adults can both watch. Even though kids may not understand the theme of the movie, it has a very clear theme. The theme of the movie is to treat people how you want to be treated. I would agree with critics about how they describe how mean the principle was. Overall I agree with everything Alicia blogged about and that it is worth paying money for this movie

I Am Legand is avery good example of a character driven movie! Even though though there are only just two main characters they perform very well in this movie. Will Smith's Character kinda show to be a little bit mysterious in the beginning but at the end quickly shows his true colors of who his is and his view on the whole situation about the virus that has taken over most of the world. One of the good things about this movie is that it keeps it's suspense very well and doesn't giveaway the parts that make you wonder the most about and throw all the action at you in one scene. It is smooth and has very good character driven transistions throughout the movie. I personally love! this movie, for some reason, even though it's fictional it seems to teach a lesson to never give up and that their is more hope at the end of every situation no matter how tough or difficult that it may be.
