Wiz Khalifa’s album Rolling Papers which had great success which sold 191,777 its first week. People were estimating he would sell around that first week. I think he lived up to the hype I actually went and bought the CD Rolling Papers the day it came out. This CD was number 2 on the sales list after the first week the album has been out. He actually released quite a few songs off the album before he actually had the release date set. I heard a few songs way before I knew the song list was out for Rolling Papers. Songs such as “On My Level”, “Black And Yellow”, “ The Race”,”Rooftops”, and “Star Of The Show”, were leaked before the album had come out. His songs had more of a hip hop and pop feel to it. It didn’t sound much like any mixtapes such as his latest Cabin Fever or the Classic Kush & Orange Juice. This album had some people questioning all the hype but he had more people loving this album then hating this album. I think Rolling Papers was good because it was different then all the stuff he usually puts out. The song “Rooftops” which Features Currency was pretty much talking about how far both of these rappers have come.
