This heavy rock band Three Days Grace gives a lot of different feels to the music depending to the songs. Their music involves a lot about love and hate and also a lot of getting back out there and not giving up. “I hate everything about you” is their top song and it shows how the boy hates everything about the person but he can’t help but love them, the same is represented in “Over and Over” expects it doesn’t really say he hates the person he love it’s about how he can’t help but in love with her even though he tries not to be and the girl doesn’t even have to try and make him fall for her, he just automatically does and can’t stop. “Riot” and “Time of dying” are about how you shouldn’t give up and how you should try to live life and if you aren’t happy about it changes it because you don’t have a long time to live. “Somebody who cares” is similar to those previous two songs above except it’s asking why there can be so many people to doubt and be mean to other people and why it is hard to find someone who will care about you, not judge you, and be there for you. All the songs remind me of a certain love and hate we all can tend to feel about the person we love most and hold dear. It also reminds me that if life gets tough and I want to hide and run away from it all like all of us feel like doing sometimes that things will turn out ok and that if I truly didn’t like something I should change it. It also makes me think about other people, the people I’m close to, people I’ve met, random strangers which I might of talked to like once, and I think about the experience they might have had and how they were impacted and it altogether makes me want to try harder to be the person I hope to become one day and not ever give up (so to make it shorter it cheers me up quickly and gives me energy and determination to make a change and try to become the type I person I hope to be). Two artist that Three Days Grace reminds me of is Linkin Park and Nickelback because there styles are similar. Linkin Park is a little darker than Three Days Grace and talks a little bit more about pain and hard times (just a little more). Nickelback seems just a little more upbeat (best word I could think for it) and seems to want to enjoy life a little more in their lyrics (talks about sex than Three Days Grace does). The critics think that Three Days Grace is quite a popular band and is a pretty good and unique heavy rock band and I fully agree to that and it is defiantly worth the time and money to listen to them and support them.
