This type of music by Eminem Is known as rap or hip-hop. I know it’s a kind of old cd of Eminem’s but it’s still a good cd, and it was his “highly anticipated album” and it kind of threw him back into the music scene, because it has been about 5 years since his last record, Encore and now he has a new-ish cd out it has been out since last June, it’s called Recovery and it was the second cd to Relapse that was supposed to be called Relapse 2 but they decided that didn’t sound as good as Recovery. This album (Relapse) is mainly about him hating the world kind of attitude; he talks about his fight with drug addiction, and his family issues, and rehab. The critics say that they don’t really like this album or Eminem’s attitude on the album since it’s so dark and depressing, giving him 4 out of 10. Although the critics gave it 4 out of 10 I still give 9 out of 10 because he is starting fresh with a new album this is nothing like he’s ever written before, this album has shown a new Eminem one reverting back into his angst and hatred, and even though it is very dark and manacle he used great lyrics, he always goes hard when he is rapping. Eminem has made such a name for himself, that he cannot be compared to anyone, even thought back when he first started rapping, he compared himself to Markey Mark a.k.a. Mark Walberg, but now since then he has surpassed Markey Mark or anyone else claiming to be greater than him. One of my favorite/ most memorable songs from Eminem is “Medicine Ball” pretty much in this whole song he is saying he has got the whole world in his medicine ball, so that he can do whatever he wants to the whole world, or at least that’s how I perceive it. Another one of his songs that I really like and that stick out to me is “Stay Wide Awake” because he is being dark, and says no one has ever gone where he is going or where he has gone, and that you need to stay wide awake because if you don’t you might just think it’s a dream. I disagree with the critics I think this is one of his best albums, which in one of his songs he is talking about how the critics don’t like his albums, than in a few years they go back and rewrite the review saying it’s an awesome album, so he says give this album a few more years and they will like it. I think they should have rated his album higher than a 4 because of how great his album was. I believe that this album is a great album and you can buy anyone of his cd’s and you’ll be happy you did, so this album is definitely worth your time and money.
