I agree with Monique’s post about Nicki Minaj. Especially when she says that her music can bring out many different feelings in a person. She is probably one of the only female rappers who can create any voice and rhythm in a song and still sound amazing. Personally I think that in order to be able to listen to Nicki and enjoy her music, you have to be a fan of rap music. One of the first times I heard Nicki Minaj I thought it was a joke and that she didn’t sound all that great. However, it definitely grew on me and I think she kills it in every song she’s in. I believe that it takes a lot of talent to be able to rap and sing in the same song and still sound really well. In the song “Roman’s Revenge” with Eminem she sounds so tough and gives off a feeling that just makes you want to go crazy and pumps you up. This song is more intimidating and not a very peaceful song that you would just sit back and chill to like a few of her other songs for example “Save me” which Monique talked about a little bit in her blog. I would definitely recommend buying her CD if you like rap music and want something new.
