The next review that I am doing is on the New Boyz. The New Boyz are made up of two guys: Legacy which his real name is Dominic Thomas, and Ben.J’s real name is Earl Benjamin. The New Boyz are a Hip Hop group and a jerkin group. With all their songs they come up with dance moves like “the jerk” and “the cat daddy”. The feel of the New Boyz songs just want to make you get up and dance, their songs are always full of energy and really nice rhythm. The New Boyz song “New Girl” is a song that creates emotion because it talks about “the guy” starting out new and not worrying about exes. It creates just a feel as if you could do the exact same thing by finding a new girl. On the other hand the New Boyz song “You’re a Jerk” is just and upbeat song and I would definetely compare to the song “Teach Me how to Dougie” because they both have special dances to go with them and both of those songs I just mentioned makes you want to get up and do the “Dougie” or the “Jerk”! The lyrics in the song “Cat Daddy” the new boyz sing: “Call me spongebob, stackin Krabby Patties” those lyrics just make me laugh because they are just so silly and random but also makes sense in the song because they talk about going to work and that is what spongebob does for work, make Krabby Patties. Critics say that the New Boyz are a very sucessful pair together, but when they include other people in their songs they lose flavor says the critics. And I agree with the critics but at the same time I don’t. Because New Boyz will always be my favorite hip hop group as long as they keep up their spice and energy. My overall opinion is that the New Boyz are awesome, and everyone should buy their album because after hearing them…you will definetly want to throw a dance party!
