I agree a hundred percent with Melanie Stock because Taylor Swift is a very influential person in my life. Her songs tell her stories about her recent event in her life too relationship, break-ups, parental conflicts. Also, agree with Melanie my favorite song from her album Fearless the song “fifteen”. It starts out talking about your freshmen year in high school how you wish you would see someone you new and could relate too, this song even came out when I was a freshmen in high school. Last year at the CMA (Country music Awards) Taylor Swift won four awards. The first one was Album of the year for her album fearless her second won was for Best female Country Vocal Performance for the song white-horse. Also, for the song White- Horse she won Best Country song. The last win for Taylor Swift was the also for her album Fearless she won for best Country Album. The reason why this is so great is because Taylor Swift at the 2009 awards beat out George Straight which is Quote on Quote the “country King.” She got the awards at the age of nineteen. Melanie Stock really has covered a lot of important facts and statements about Taylor Swift. I even wrote my second blog about Taylor Swift she has been one of my favorite singers since I was freshmen in high school. I think that Taylor Swift’s songs bring excitement to life and Country music similar to what Ms. Stock said Taylor swift has lot pop- country songs that have a fast beat. I do think she is one of the only Country singers that sing in pop more than sad, depressing and that’s one my top reason why I like her. There are many pop singers like Kasha, Lady Gaga. Except for, I’m a true Country lover like Melanie Stock and I always support her career.
