The Red Hot Chili Peppers are their own version of rock. And with their own version of rock they can have many different feels for their music. I would agree that their genre and feeling for the songs change from album to album. The RHCP’s “Dani California” is similar to Rise Agonists’ “Audience of One” as well as Tom Petty’s “Last Dance with Maryjane”. They all have lots of guitar. A lyric that’s memorable is “Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner Sometimes I feel like my only friend Is the city I live in, the city of Angels Lonely as I am, together we cry” from “Scar Tissue”. It’s saying that he is alone and there are people around him but he is still alone. And most of the album reviews have been very positive. So they have a different style for each album so there is most likely something by them you will enjoy.
