Lil Wayne is the most popular rapper in the United States. He has been around and rapping for fifteen years. As you can probably tell his style of music is rap. The emotions expressed in Lil Wayne’s songs are mostly happy, confident in his lyrics, once in a while depressing, and he always tells the straight up truth. When comparing Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne they are mostly opposite but in some ways similar. First they are about a decade apart in age. Second Lil Wayne raps and Justin Bieber sings hip hop. Lastly Justin’s emotions are softer and more meaningful in the way his lyrics are sung. Lil Wayne brings the feeling of wanting to get up and dance wherever you are. Justin brings the feeling of wanting to sing to your girlfriend/boyfriend. Lil Wayne refers to himself in his songs as Weezy. In his song “Got Money” it says, “got money and you know it, take it out your pocket, then show it, then throw it like..” it just shows how Lil Wayne has lots of money and I wouldn’t say these lyrics are memorable but I would say they describe his lifestyle. Also when looking at Lil Wayne’s music he uses a lot of profanity and provocative descriptions. This isn’t all that bad but it puts women in a bad category. As you all know Lil Wayne just got out of jail about a week ago. When he was in jail he continued writing songs and rapping. What else was he supposed to do in there by himself. Lots of people were able to go and see him when he came out of the jail. My overall opinion of Lil Wayne is that he is an amazing rapper and if I would ever get the chance to meet him I would tell him that I love him!
