Tinkerbell burst into the big screens with a sprinkle of fairy dust, and into the magical world of Pixie Hollow. The movie, Tinkerbell, takes you through many adventures from going to find the magic stone to being stuck all alone on a far away island. In the beginning of the movie, Tinkerbell tries hard to do well and makes many contraptions for people to use, like a boat and airplane. The queen of Pixie Hollow, Queen Clarion, sends Tinkerbell on a journey to find a magical stone. Queen Clarion sends Tinkerbell on this journey because Tinkerbell thinks her “tinker” isn’t as important as others, but the queen knows it is and wants to prove it to her. During the journey Tinkerbell runs into many obstacles and challenges that help her become stronger and believe in her. Throughout the movie you get to experience the brilliant and interesting characters that live in Pixie Hollow, such as Silvermist, Fawn, Rosetta, Iridessa, Terence, Clank, and Bobble. Silvermist, Fawn, Rosetta, and Iridessa are Tinkerbell’s best friends and support her throughout the movie. Terence is Tinkerbell’s very best friend; he believes in Tinkerbell and even comes to her rescue! The actors and actresses that play these characters are amazing at the voices that fit perfectly with the characters. Clank and Bobble are two goofy workers in Pixie Hollow and their voices complete their funny characters in the movie. Mae Whitman, the voice of Tinkerbell, fits perfectly with Tinkerbell’s character; she’s got an adorable, innocent voice that describes Tinkerbell just right. One main theme that these characters reveal throughout the movie is to never give up and always believe in yourself. It’s a great theme that all ages can learn from, and it’s revealed in such an exciting way! One review I read on this movie was from imdb.com and was written by Vanessa, she said, “I could really relate to Tink’s desire to find out who she is and why.” I completely agree with this statement, and I can also relate to Tink’s desire. With all the fascinating characters that live in Pixie Hollow, and the inspiring themes, Tinkerbell is definitely worth your time and money. This movie fits people of all ages and would be enjoyable for anyone to watch!
