Drake is an amazing rapper and singer. I would have to agree with Ashley saying that Drake’s music has a beat that is sick. Drake and Lil Wayne are really good friends and when they rap/sing together the music just gets taken to another level of get up and dance. When Drake first became popular in 2006 as Ashley said he was very misinterpreted. Everyone just thought it was a big joke and he wasn’t supposed to come out and be this good. Drake’s song “Best I Ever Had” is my favorite because once again like Ashley said it makes girls feel special and feel like they have a place in this world. I would agree with the statement “Drake would be the complete opposite of Lady Gaga” because it’s true in my mind. Lady Gaga is all about crazy and fun and Drake is more about his beautiful women and he likes people to hear about him and his life. Drake is always trying to help out people in need and he should be acknowledged for his accomplishments. I agree with Ashley when saying that Drake is the most influential rapper. When Drake signed with Young Money Records he and all the other rappers made many songs for the record and it just soar off the charts in numbers. Drake created an audience of young women for all the songs he sings, and most of his audience could relate to at least one or two of his songs because I know I do. Drake is also known as Drizzy as most rappers have their own name to refer to themselves in their music. My overall opinion of Drake would be that he is an amazing rapper and that on a bad day I can play a song by Drake and it makes me feel a lot better. Plus who doesn’t go all out when his songs come on.
