The Blind Side, is another fantastic movie with Sandra Bullock in it. Leigh Ann and Sean Tuohy take in a big African-American boy named Michael Oher, also know as “big Mike”. Big Mike is homeless and not very educated. The familiy was driving home from Collins volleyball game, when they saw big Mike walking out in the rain. They decided to take him back to their house and give him a place to stay for the night. Michael grew on the family, and they all wanted him to stay, so Michael moved in with them. The family gave him everything he could ever dream of; meals on the table, clothes, a car, and a family that loved him. Michale is amazing at football and ends up becoming a first round NFL draft pick. Sandra Bullock plays Leigh Ann, Tim McGraw plays Sean, and Quinton Aasron plays Michael Oher. Leigh Ann is hard-driven and wants what’s best for everyone. She loves helping people as she took in Michael. Michael Oher was shy at first, but once he started living with the family he became people friendly. He’s like a big teddy bear. The son, SJ and Michael become really close and have a big brother, little brother bond. A major theme in the movie is to help others and you will be rewarded. They helped Michael, and they were rewarded another child and family member. I most definitly agree with the critics of The Blind Side. For the most part all the critics thought the movie was very moving and inspirational. It makes you really sit back and think about how good your life really is, and what you can do to help those around you that aren’t as fortuneate. The movie has a combination of comedy, seriousness, and some sad parts. It’s a great movie based on a true story. The Blind Side is definitly worth every cent you’d pay to see it. It’s not just a movie you see once and never want to watch it again, it’s a moive you’ll want to watch over and over again.
