Fight Club is a great movie with a plot that twists and turns until you barley knows what is going on anymore till the end when it all come together. Edward Nortan plays the main character that seems to be living the “American Dream” with all his worldly passions. After he meets a man named Tyler Durgen his whole life would change. He works for a major car company as a person who see defective cars and ranks it on a point system to see weither or not the car should be recalled. After going on a business trip he meets Tyler (Brad Pitt) on a plane. They kick it off but when they land they depart. When he goes back to his apartment it was burnt down due to a gas leak and his pilot light going on. Then he calls up Tyler and the story really begins. He then starts fighting just to get into fights, quits his job, and really starts living life no matter what happens. When things start to get out of hand he goes to look more into who Tyler is and what actually is going on. The main characters are a white collar American who may have some mental issues, but I’ll let you decide that. At the beginning he is just an average Joe, but in the end he is a warrior. Tyler on the other hand is the wild side. He does whatever he wants just for the thrill. He steals human fat to make soap to make a living. He is very smart and manipulative. I would say the overall theme is things aren’t always as they seem. If I explain that anymore it’ll ruin the movie so just watch it and find out yourself. This is hand down my favorite movie a must see!
