Coach carter considered one of the best true story movies ever made. This movie is very incredible; it has a lot of emotions to it, happy times and sad times. This movie is about Coach named carter who is played by Samuel L Jackson. It’s about how this coach coached a team who lost hope on the basketball court as well as the outside world. Coach Carter was someone who just didn’t improve their record but set their life on the right path. Most of these kids that carter came to were kids who grew up in the hood where school wasn’t really something they cared about. They were kids whose mindsets were on basketball and only basketball. They thought that everything will go their way and all they had to do was play ball. When the great coach carter came most of the ways things were handled changed. This new coach showed this team that he was teaching them about life. He showed this when he tells them they had to call people sir and madam to show respect. He taught them that they had to do well in school to consider extra curriculum activities. This meant actually caring about school work and getting good grades. Like any other young teenager they gave him hard time but he was a strong individual who stuck with through the end. Finally things started going his way. The kids started doing well in school, they were thinking about their future. They made him very proud and he put in a lot of work for him to be proud. I think this is a great movie which shows the lives of youngsters who live in America not all of them, but mostly they covered it very well. I think Samuel L Jackson did a fantastic job playing his character. He brought his character to life and made you belief that he was the real “Coach Carter”. I recommend this movie because I feel like it’s a great movie and I enjoyed watching it.
