Hilary Duff plays (Sam Montgomery) in the “Cinderella Story “. Sam Montgomery is a town boy girl in high school. She lives with her step mother Fiona and step sisters, Gabriella, and Brianna. They make her stay in the attic while serving, and cleaning their house. When she’s not with them she has to work at her step mother’s diner restaurant and go to school all at the same time. Sam Montgomery starts messaging someone by the name of Nomad for a few months. After time passes, Nomad asks her to go to the Halloween dance and wants her to meet him in the middle of the dance floor. The problem is that she has to be at the diner before 12 because she was supposed to be working. Before Nomad is able to find out who she is, Sam Montgomery has to leave with her best friend, Carter and go back to the diner before her step mother Fiona finds out she was gone. As she was running out of the dance she drops her cell phone and Nomad finds it. Nomad wants to know who Cinderella was but Sam Montgomery is afraid that he won’t like her when he finds out who she really is. Will they end up together and live happily ever after?
Hilary Duffs character, (Sam Montgomery) has a very kind personality and she works hard at what she wants and she is motivated by Rhonda one of the workers that work at the diner with her.
Fiona’s character, (Jennifer Coolidge) has a very selfish personality and she is motivated by the fact that she has a lot of money because of Sam’s father.
Gabriela’s character, (Andrea Avery) has a mean and selfish personality, thinks that she can get what she wants by her mother Fiona. She is motivated by acting like her mother.
Brianna’s character, (Madeline Zima) also has a mean and selfish personality, tries to be better than her sister. She is motivated by her mother.
Carter’s character, (Dan Byrd) has a caring and outgoing personality. He is motivated by his best friend Sam Montgomery.
Austin Ames character, (Chad Michael Murray) popular kid in the school, dates Shelby and wants to find out who Cinderella is. He is motivated by Sam Montgomery.
Rhonda’s character, (Regina King) is one of the workers at the diner. She is motivated by Sam Montgomery to work there still. The themes in this movie are a love story, and a fairytale. I think that the audience should take away the fact that you shouldn’t give up on something you want and have a positive attitude. I agree with the critics because they say it is a classic and I think that the Cinderella Story can teach teenagers to live the life that they want to.
Over all, I think this is worth our time and money because these kinds of movies can teach younger people.
