Cars is a Pixar Animation Studios movie about a racecar by the name of Lightning McQueen, which is trying to win the Piston Cup. During the last race of the series it was a 3 way tie for first so the 3 that tied have to meet up at another race track to do a one lap tie breaker. On the way there McQueen get abandoned by his truck Mack and gets lost in Radiator Springs. In Radiator Springs he tore up the road and their making him fix it up. He meets a few people including a famous Piston Cup winner from a couple years back. In Radiator Springs he finds the true meaning of family and friends. Owen Wilson played the voice of Lightning McQueen, in which I thought he did a good job with his performance. Along with him followed Larry the Cable guy acting as Mator who is a funny character in the movie as the old rusty tow truck. I think that he did a phenomenal job on acting out Mator. One character in the film is Mator. He is a rusty old tow truck that’s a funny character. Mator is full of jokes and joking around with a lot of his actions and word choice. He always makes people laugh that are watching the movie. Also, another character is Lightning McQueen, which is the main character. He is a determined racecar that wants to win no matter how hard it is for him. In the beginning of the movie he is really self centered on only himself but towards the end he learns what it’s like to have family and friends and he becomes more open viewed. The theme to this movie is to not rush things just to get them done, instead take your time because you might get something out of it. Critics say that Cars is a masterpiece and a great movie for adults and children with the animations”. I would agree with this review because at 18 I still watch it from time to time and laugh at parts. In my opinion this is a great movie and well worth your time and money.
