Limitless is a great character driven movie that is directed by Neil Burger. Limitless is a thriller that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Edward (Eddie) Morra is a writer in the big apple. Life is not going to good for him right now, his girlfriend had just broke up with him and now he has failed to meet the deadline on his book. Eddie was out one day and accidentally bumped in to his ex-girlfriends brother, Vernon. Surprisingly they seem like best buddies. Vernon is a drug dealer and offers a drug NZT-48 to Eddie that lets your brain function 100%. Eddie is skittish about the drug until Vernon tells him that it is FDA approved. Eddie takes the drug and is able to finish his story within a day. Eddie wants more NZT so he goes and works as an assistant for Vernon. That doesn’t last long after getting back from getting them food he finds Vernon dead. He found the stash of NZT and gets out before the police arrive. He takes the pill and is finding out some of the side effects and notices that he is being watched. Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, and Abby Cornish are the main characters in this movie. They all play their roles perfectly and they were all a perfect fit for their roles. Brad who plays Eddie is unorganized, filthy, lazy until he takes the pill which turns him into a totally different person. He wants his girlfriend back and he thinks that if he goes big she’ll come back to him. Robert De Niro who plays Carl Van Loon is a business mogul who is always worried about business and is trying to make his business bigger. Abby Cornish plays as Eddies ex and is trying to help Eddie by telling him to stop the drug and warn him but Eddie does not listen. That you have to be careful of what you do cause everything you do has an effect on you. The critics gave it good feedback and I agree it was a good movie and I have nothing but good comments to say about it myself. I think that this movie is worth your money it tends to start out slow but it definitely gets interesting.
