Happy Gilmore is a movie about this guy named Happy Gilmore. His grandmother’s house is up for auction to the highest bidder. But the house is significant because Happy grew up in that house and his grandfather built it with his bare hands a long time ago. So Happy decides to give up hockey and start to play golf to see if he can raise enough money to pay for the house before the auction date arrives. His grandmother has to stay in a retirement home until he can achieve the money and there is a mean man there who acts nice when Happy is around his grandmother but he is a jerk when Happy is not there. Happy enrolls in a bunch of golf tournaments and makes small change for the most of them but he lets his temper get the best of him. He’s almost kicked off the tour for a bad attitude but luckily gets to stay. The last tournament he plays in is the deciding factor whether he has enough money to pay off the house. Happy Gilmore is played by Adam Sandler. He is a very good actor and has good creativity. Shooter McGavin is played by Christopher Mcdonald. He’s the antagonist. Bob Barker is played by no one other than Bob barker himself. Happy is relentless and does not give up on his grandmother. Shooter wants nothing more than for Happy to fail in the progress. Bob Barker shows some of his boxing skills towards Happy. The theme of the movie is do not give up on those who never gave up on you. I agree that this was his best movie up to date when it came out but he has made countless number of great movies since then. I think it is worth our money and time because it was a great movie back when I was young and it still is a great movie 11 years later.
