Finding Nemo is a great character driven movie directed by Andrew Stanton that brings out his inner child. Finding Nemo is an adventurous and exciting movie especially for kids. The movie brings you on a Journey with Marlin and Dory on their mission to find Nemo as he was taken by a scuba diver at the drop off on his first day of school. Dory has short term memory and on the voyage of finding Nemo her memory seems to be better around Marlin. Marlin on the other hand is very determined to find his son and will do anything to get his son back. Marlin’s fish mate and Nemo’s mom was eaten by a barracuda along with all their eggs leaving Nemo untouched still in his egg. Marlin took special care of Nemo on his own as Nemo was growing up. Then Dory and Marlin swim through a trench when some fish they met on their voyage told them to swim over it because Marlin disagreed with Dory on swimming over the trench. This led to a surrounding of jelly fish and Dory and Marlin had gotten hurt by them and woke up on a turtle named crushes back. Crush was 150 years old and was a very active and lively turtle with a kid named squirt. One theme in the movie is to never give up because if you give up you’re never going to get what you want. Also another theme is trust and how trust is so important. I agree with the critics reviews it is a very colorful, happy movie. I think it is worth our time and money because little kids watch this movie as well as adults but some of the good will rub-off on the little kids.
