One of my favorite bands is the Zac Brown band. They would be classified as a country band. When I listen to the Zac Brown band I feel happy. They evoke emotions of happiness, and they make you want to go out and have fun. It also helps you think about the good times you have had. In their song “Keep Me in Mind,” it talks about a relationship and how happy he would be to be with her, the beat is uplifting. In their song “Chicken Fried” it talks about relaxing, having fun, and living life. They have many albums including Pass the Jar, You Get What You Give, The Foundation, and many more, having many different songs that make you want to hear more. They have many songs all having different meanings but in general all are upbeat, and relatable. The lyrics to “Chicken Fried” are great, it makes me think of summer, laying on the beach, and having fun with my friends. They are like other country stars in the fact that they are upbeat. Many country artists talk about life, and having fun which the Zac Brown band also does. Billboard compares them to Alan Jackson, who is a well known country star as well; both have upbeat and relatable lyrics. A difference between the two is that Alan Jackson is a solo singer and they are a band. The Zac Brown band has come from the bottom and has rose up to the top, becoming big stars. In both reviews I agree with their opinions on the Zac Brown band being big hits, and popular country stars, with Grammy’s to prove it. They say they are the newest boy’s band. Hollywood Reporter says they are the “best group going in country.” My overall opinion is that the Zac Brown band is worth your time and money. If you like country, you will like them, they are relatable to many different types of people.
