Jason, I agree on your extraordinary review of the meaning-full rock group The Killers. I also share the feelings they are one of the last rock groups in such a once roaring era that is screeching to its end. In your review of the group you found their lyrics brought a full-fledged meaning to their instrumentals but I modestly disagree, I feel it is their smooth sound that has raised the hearts of their fans; which has helped them make a sound worth dying for. Additionally I find that their unique sound creates a surreal feel that can calm the mind of any rabid rock fan. In a statement regarding the groups new album Battle Born you said you found that the group’s songs have “a little bit different of a rhythm for The Killers” and I agree as I believe they are swaying to a different more rapid pace; leaving most of their older, but yet still great, sounds behind. Finally I can’t agree with you enough that this group is worth our time. Their sounds may be evolving but are still outstanding as they pound forwards, stretching the boundaries of the rock gene keeping both an amazing lyrics set and an overall amazing sound.
