The rock group Green Day is a stunning ensemble of guitars and drums that shakes the very souls of their punk rock fans. In their anarchist conquest of the ridged music world, the band inspires followers through a clash of musical and vocal genius plus a new wave fast pace and wild tempo. Many say this group holds a similar sound to the rock group Korn but still represents a very different style in their aggressive onslaught of cords. This construct of musical brilliance lead by Billie Joe Armstrong matches the sound quality of Avenged Seven Fold with a lighter tone and a very rebellious spin. One of this group’s most memorable songs “American Idiot” was released in September of 2004, drowning the market with outstanding punk rock sound. The song and Album was an instant hit as it sparked the awareness of most American citizen’s mock able acts, the quell of fame swarmed across the group and massed power to the punk rockers. Another song, released ten years earlier, often associated with these spiky hair non-conformists is “Basket Case” which hit the streets in 1994. The masterpiece told a story of one man’s mental paranoia in his everyday life and his self-reflections on the issues it brought. The critics on Ew.com claim the group to be the start of a revolution, which I agree. Their music brought rise to many other groups which have stepped up the intensity bringing a whole new spectrum of wild music. In my honest opinion I feel that every second of Green Day is worth one’s time. It is a beautiful yet rebellious style of music that shakes the very souls of its fans. Once you get started on this gene of loony free-for-all music you will find that it is amazing too and certainly worth every moment.
