In response to Ryan H’s blog on the band Maroon 5, I have to say I agree with him completely that this band is very easy to listen to and their lyrics are very catchy. They have so many big hits that have made the top charts which has made this band one of the most popular bands in the United States right now. Another thing that has made them popular is that one of their star members is Adam Levine, who is the bands front man and guitarist. He is also one of the coaches on the new reality music show “The Voice”. Everyone seems to really like Adam and he is a respectable judge on the show which has to help out his band also. Besides that popular songs that Ryan listed, another song I like is the one “Moves Like Jagger”. This song refers to the talented moves and singing of music legend, Mick Jagger from the band The Rolling Stones. I really like this song and it also brings out positive attention to it. I think Maroon 5 sounds a lot like the bands Train, OneRepublic, and Plain White T’s. I would recommend this band to anyone. It is appropriate for all ages, which is not always true for bands today.
