Lately Kid Cudi’s songs have been quite popular. The song “Pursuit of Happiness” is my all-time favorite thus far. I’m also thinking that it’s a Hip-Hop song with a little bit of R & B because of the way his feelings are expressed in his song’s. His emotions of being sad but also expressing his feelings of happiness are clearly present in every one of his pieces. People say Kid Cudi’s music speaks his life and if you look and listen in that regard, it tells most of his life story right in the song itself. By listening to every one of his songs, you can find out from when he started talking and singing, all the way up to just the week prior before his last song has come out. His songs mention about all the struggles he had with the influences that others had on him to do illegal drugs and breaking laws that could have put him in prison for life. I would even relate Kid Cudi’s song “Pursuit of Happiness” to my own life because its somewhat the same, minus the big drug parts. All in all, Kid Cudi is an excellent song wirter and singer that can really impact a single person just by them listening deep into the song.
