Drake is a rapper and probably one of the best in the industry today. He came up big with his song called “Best I ever had” from the album So Far Gone. His music in the So Far Gone album has a lot of different feel to it. It has a cocky feel to it in most of his songs, talking about how he is one of the best rappers out there and how much money and woman he gets. His music has a very different sound to it compared to other well known rappers. All his lyrics are memorable, using metaphors and comparisons of different kinds. Many rappers do this, but not as much creativity as Drake. Two of the songs that are very memorable in the So Far Gone album are “Best I ever had.” It was probably the hottest song in this album. Another song that is memorable in this album is “I’m going in” featuring Lil Wayne. In this song both rappers have good verses that just get stuck to your head. Many critics say that Drake is the hottest young rapper in the game and I would have to agree. Drake has added a different and creative sound in his lyrics that just never gets boring. The creativity in his lyrics is amazing with a flow that isn’t boring at all, and makes you want to rap along with him. The So Far Gone album is a very good one. With many different songs that are very creative in the instrumentals, to the hooks and lyrics. This album is definitely worth the money. If you like music about money and being cocky then this album is for you. And it is just not only about money and being cocky, but there is music in this album with songs that you can dedicate to a special someone.

Nice post about Drake, I agree with the things you said. Drake is a breath of fresh air in an industry that was becoming a little stale with a lot of gangster rappers and not enough people going outside of the box. It’s cool to hear Drake when he sings the hook then lays down a sweet verse afterwards. The only negative about him is that he tends to repeat similar lines in different songs. Best I Ever Had was definitely the hit of the summer, even though the music video fell short of everyone’s expectations. His album will sell a lot of albums because of all the buzz surrounding him, including the help of Lil Wayne and Young Money. Him and Wayne have a chemistry that is unbeatable, they are going to be making awesome songs together as long as they stay friends. It reminds me of The Game and 50 back in 2004/2005. They were making tons of money together, like Wayne and Drake are now, but fell out. Let’s hope these 2 don’t do the same thing so they can keep making good songs for us all of bump to in our car. I’m looking forward to his return from a messed up leg. He has been sidelined because of an injury but hopefully he comes back strong and starts releasing a new song every few days. I also hope he finds some new material, but stays real. The song “Fear” is really deep, if there’s anyone that hasn’t heard it they should Youtube it after reading my post. I’m looking forward to hearing more Drake collaborations. He has done songs with Jay Z, Gucci Mane, and Nipsey Hussle. That’s a diverse crowd. My dream song would include The Game with Drake on the hook. Hopefully it happens.

YEa dude Drake is by far the greatest his song with gucci mane proves that hes not picky about his crowed. He also made a song with soulja boy i mean soulja boy the most hated artist in the industry for his dance songs and very weak lyrical flow. Drake give people like him hope. The song Playball shows that drake has vesitility and can work with just anyone. I really hope that drake makes a song with Jay-Z other than off that because i mean all he was on was the hook. I expect a legit verse from him the next time they come around. Plus considering that Drake looks up to Jay-Z aka the hov hes gotta go hard. Things do happen Drake hurt himself on stage but it shouldnt stop his career. When he comes back i expect it to be his second comeing twice as good as before maybe a super drake.
