Linkin Park is an American rock band that came from Agoura Hills, California, and the band was formed in 1996. It wasn’t long until the success of the band became public; they ended up selling up to 50 million albums and won two Grammys. Their album “Minutes to Midnight” was an album to which to be decided, but the fans words were as described “Damned if they do, damned if they don’t!” When it came to deliver the third album, it became one of the biggest rock hits of the new millennium. Their songs are mixed in with a lot of different emotions, not just staying on one type of tone or sound. In the album “Minutes to Midnight” it was surprising to some people how the album really didn’t have any rock music on it, but slower, emotional music. With a handful of upbeat songs like “Bleed it out” easily the best, most different sounding music they have ever made, with quiet atmospheric feelings, and with electronic textures that were cutting edge. Compared to other bands I would probably compare them with “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” just because of their take on things, and sound. Critics express their feelings as this band progresses as a band that won’t stop surprising us, and I agree with them. This band still has a lot to offer and has many fans that have their backs, so as they progress I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it into the top 10. So if you’re looking for a band that can rock, slow things down, and just hit you with the sound of their music, and this is the band for you, in other words you wouldn’t waste your money or time on this band because they are a band that wouldn’t disappoint.
