One movie that I saw recently was True Grit. True grit was made twice the original stared John Wayne, playing as Rooster Cogburn, a mean and grouchy Marshal who has a bad reputation of bringing in criminals more dead than alive. Accepts a contract to bring in a Tom Chaney (played by Jeff Corey) who killed Mattie Ross’s (played by Kim Darby) father and stole everything they had then ran away into the “Indian territory”. In the newer version of this movie Rooster is played by Jeff Bridges, and Mattie is played by Hailee Steinfeld, and don’t forget the criminal Tom Chaney who is played by Josh Brolin. In both versions of True Grit Mattie plays a young woman who speaks her mind very and does not take no for an answer. Her knowledge of the law both saves her and gets her in allot of trouble. Never the less she will not give up and turns out to be both a valuable asset and a pain in Roosters side. Both versions of True Grit are great and I completely recommend watching them both versions. I would give the original a 4 out of 4 and the remake a 3 out of 4. It is completely worth your time and money.
