WOW!!! Reading Robin’s blog about Twilight made me laugh!! I have to agree with Robin’s blog post about this movie, because the movie did not live up to my expectations. While reading the book, Stephanie Meyer’s writing filled my imagination with endless possibilities of the character Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. Kristen Stewart who played Bella Swan in the movie did an absolutely horrific job at portraying Bella Swan in the movie. Personal, I do not think that Kristen Stewart can act at all from watching the other movies that she has been in. As Robin said, “Bella was a strong, confident girl in the book, while in the movie she was a scared, timid baby,” I strongly agree with Robin’s opinion. In the movie, Kristen Stewart made Bella Swan an awkward character. Everything that Bella did, from talking to associating with other was awkward. In the book, Bella and Edward are anything but awkward towards one another, but the movie did the opposite. Can you say “Awkward turtle?” Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen in Twilight, did an exceptional job at portraying his character. Edward was a shy, but confident character. He kept to himself and did not associate with others unless he needed to. As Robin say, the theme to his movie is love conquers all. Edward and Bella did not let their differences (being a vampire and human) stop them from falling in love. Entertainment Weekly rates Twilight with a “B.” I do not agree with this rating and would rate the movie a “D” because it did not meet my expectations. What I will give them is an “A” for effort. The movie is not worth anyone’s time or money. I would have to agree with Robin and say spend your money on the book, because the book is much better than the movie!
