Wiz Khalifa is a hip-hop/pop artist. He raps and sings about many things he mostly talking about his party filled life and what he likes to do. His music is everywhere from relaxing bass filled slow songs to upbeat songs. Wiz Khalifa’s songs aren’t like many people songs; he tried to bring back the feeling of the old greats. He has a great team called Taylor Gang that helps influence him. These people consist of: Snoop Dogg, Chevy Woods, Juicy J, Curren$y, Big Sean, Rick Ross, and his fiancĂ©e Amber Ross. All of these people have made amazing music; the money they have been making proves that. A successful album of his is Rolling Papers, and a really successful mix tape of his is Taylor Allderdice. Rolling Papers is more of a chill album that really lets people know that he has made it. He talks about all his money and in one particular song “rooftops” he says he was not allowed to be in the building but now he is on the rooftop. He is emphasizing that he came from nowhere and is now famous and rich. Taylor Allderdice is again about how is rich and what he does. He also talks about how difficult it is to know who is actually with him or just there cause he is rich. In the song “brainstorm” he talks about how he has so many things running through his mind and he drinks and smokes to unwind. He is trying to say that sometimes all this is too much. In another song called “number 16” he says he doesn’t do it for the fame he does it for the check. A lot of Critics say that he talks about his Drug and Alcohol abuse to much and I kind of agree with that, but that’s who he is so that’s what he is going to rap about. Also critics say that his beats are good and I agree with that to his beats are catchy and in my opinion that’s what makes his music, that and his voice is a great combination. My overall opinion about Wiz Khalifa is that he is a great musician that makes really good music and I believe that buying and listing to his albums are worth your time and money.
