Nickelback is a well-known rock band the started in Canada. Most of their songs give either a sad or angry feel but some even give a happy feel. They sing about a variety of different things. One of my favorite songs is “Someday” and it is about an ex-girlfriend and how he was going to make everything better someday. This is an example of their more sad emotional songs. Another one of my favorite songs is “Rockstar” which is them talking about the life of a rock star and how they want it. This is an example of one of their more upbeat songs that give a more rock and roll feel. As you can see, Nickelback gives a mixture of songs and feels that they all give. Nickelback is a lot like the bands 3 Doors Down and Creed. They all have the same rock and roll feel but they also have a more sensitive side as well. Someday, somehow
I'm gonna make it all right but not right now, are lyrics to my favorite song “Someday”. To me, these lyrics mean that sometimes everything doesn’t work out, but someday everything will work out. Everyone has went through times when they couldn’t see the bright side or understand why it was happening, but this song makes you realize that there is always a time to make things better. Nickelback is about to release their newest album on November 21st. Some people do not like Nickelback's new music. Some of their new music is more about sex and more hardcore rock, rather than when they started it was more soft rock. No matter what others think, I love all of Nickelback's music! They are a band that can pull of a more soft rock feel but also a more hard rock style as well, which most bands cannot pull that style off. I cannot wait for their new album to come out later this month and I hope everyone else will enjoy it was much as I will.
