I have always love rick ross songs I love how he raps bout life about the street and drug’s and what people in the street have to do to make it just through one day. But Rick Ross new self-made album that hit the street four months ago. Most of the songs were about the street and how people and technology has really grown like in the song “selling dope on my iPhone “here are some lyrics from the song. I’m smoking dope, I’m on my cell phone I’m selling dope, straight off the iPhone He wanna quote, he talking 9 zones He bought four, I front him 5 more
9 piece, straight 8 balls... This is how you can sell drugs without really seeing people just because technology is so high tech now a day. But he also wrote about the passed away artist Tupac the song is called “Tupac is back” Tupac back, Tupac back There’s all these …screaming that Tupac back All eyes on me, better Picture Me Rollin’ Buying brand new rims, but them … is stolen Stranded on Death Row, Brenda having my baby But I’m stacking my paper, I need a brand new Mercedes They screaming Tupac back, Tupac back There’s all these … screaming that Tupac back. I think this song mean he’s not trying to be Tupac but he trying to do what Tupac did when he was alive and rapping he’s trying to bring peace lyrical meaning back to the game of the streets and to people who rap. So that is what he is trying to do rick ross isn’t trying to be Tupac because if you listen to the song and how he sings them he sings them like notorious B.I.G or also knows as biggie smalls cause rick ross is trying to get everyone to remember that music and rap is only like this because of what they did they brought the new swag into rap about the streets because they were the ones out there doing that work aka selling crack and coke. And this is why I love rick ross music because his songs aren’t just fake and none sense poems they actually have a meaning behind every word.
