T.I –Paper Trails
T.I grew up in the ATL and from there he hit the top. In 2001 T.I come out with his first album call “serious” from that album 7 years later he came up with Paper Trails. This album was about the lost of one of his close home boys that died by getting shot. He knew if he kept up with the way he was going he would end up with the same fate. In this album T.I talks about switching up his gangbanger life and become a real man. T.I is way different then other artist because he raps about what is happening and what’s real compared to Lil Wayne who raps and says what ever and most of it don’t even have real meanings to it. Like in one of T.I songs he says “no more stress, now I’m straight now I get it, now I take time to think before I make mistakes just for my family stake, that part of me left yesterday the heart of me is strong today, no regrets I’m blessed to say the old me dead and gone away”. He says this because whatever you do in the pass will only make you stronger. T.I raps about what feelings he has so in is album a lot of his feelings are relating with the world and all the problems that we face today between gangs, drugs, and about how we lose people in life. This album has some familiar faces you will see Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake. Over all I would agree with the article and would give it a B. I think this album is really worth the time to listen to it and way worth your money.

I would definitely have to agree with Blaze. T.I. is one of the most awesome rap artist out there because just like Blaze said T.I. talks about real things happen and his own experience and what he did to grow and learn from his mistakes. Unlike Lil' Wayne who most of the time raps about nonsense about girls and money things that are not so realistic like T.I. Especially his song Dead and Gone in the album Paper Trails he raps about him changing his old ways and how he wish he could go back and not got in that fight that cost him his friends life. He also talks about how he done being a gagster and finally see that it only brings trouble. Also how people can relate to him in this song is people have made mistake and it shows that you have to just learn from your mistakes and move on. So basically the saying what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger is what you can get from listening to this song. T.I. is putting himself on the right track and being a good role model for the kids showing that you can always change no matter what and for this reason I believe that T.I. is worth listening to and worth buying because after you listen to this you look at your life and see what you can do better.
