“Theatre of the Mind”
Some of you might know ludacris as a rapper and some of you may know him as an actor. He started out as a rapper and he disappeared from the game to go into the movie business. One of the well known movies that Ludacris is in is the movie “Crash.” Don’t think that because Luda is an actor now that he does not have skills to produce and make good music. His latest album “Theatre of the Mind,” Is a good comeback for Ludacris. Is is not an album that will hit music charts and be in the number one spot but it is a good way to come back into the game and make sure all the other rappers know he’s still here and he’s not going anywhere. Ludacris also likes to think of himself as a ladies’ man. In one of the songs off of the album, “What them girls like,” featuring Chris brown, he tells us exactly how to talk to a girl. “Now some of them want a family, a sense of security, necklace, bracelet and all other types of jewelry.” This quote from the song, “What them girls like,” is a memorable quote because he thinks he knows everything that there is to know about a lady and he is sharing his feeling through the song. The feeling that this album has is accomplishment because the album is complete with a lot of good songs on it. The songs on this album are nothing like Lil Wayne’s songs or Jay-Z songs but they are a definitely catchy song that grabs teenager’s attention. Other reviews that I read talked about the same things. I agree that this is a good comeback album but it is not great as Lil Wayne’s “The Carter III.” Some of the reasoning behind that is Luda does more acting than rapping and someone Such as Lil Wayne and Kanye West make music every single day and that’s the only thing they do. This album is worth the money and if I were you, I would go out and buy it!
