I am doing a blog about the Movie Rudy directed by David Anspaugh. It was released October 13, 1993. It was more than just a sports movie. It’s a true life story of an athlete that grew up poor without much to his name and lived and breathed Notre Dame football. He was always told growing up that he was too small to play football, he didn’t have enough money or brains for college, and he would grow up to work in the family owned factory where all his other family members ended up. He started to overcome these odds with hard work and dedication. He went to a smaller college in town to get his grades up so that he could go to Notre Dame. While going to school here he worked in the Notre Dame football stadium so he could be a part of the program in any way possible. After many many tries he was finally accepted into Notre Dame and tried to walk on as a football player. This made his father very proud because he never thought one of his kids would ever go to college or play football for his favorite team. He was still way undersized and was picked on by everyone but he never gave up and kept pushing his teammates to be better athletes. He rode the bench every game but his intensity in practice never changed. His character and love for the sport was too much for him to ever give up.
In my opinion this is a very good inspirational movie. This movie fits me because it is basically the story of my life when it comes to football. It shows that no matter what people say if you work hard and are committed nothing is impossible. I 100% recommend it to any person that is having trouble believing in themselves for any reason.

Rudy is defiantly a great movie and i believe it does really show a great sense of interest to many viewers even though it came out in 1993. This movie is really interesting from start to finish. I really like this blog post because you really show the meaning of the movie and how much it means to you and can mean to people who really don’t believe in themselves. Even though some people are better than others at the start of something, they can still overcome things and become better than anyone if they practice a lot. The main thing I don’t like about the movie right now is because many other movies have a remake of the old one in the newer days but this one. There are similar movies to this one like The Blindside but it would be so much better if they made a newer version of Rudy as soon as possible. Overall, in my opinion, I agree with Josh about the movie Rudy because it is really inspirational and makes you feel stronger inside and brings your hopes of someday becoming what you’ve always wanted to be. If it was worth my time watching, I’m sure it is for any other person who hasn’t seen it.
