Taylor Swift is a singer, songwriter and actress. In 2010 she became the youngest artist in history to win a Grammy Award for Album of the year. She signed with the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. When she released her first album in 2006 it labeled her as a country music singer. As time has gone on she has become much more than just a country star. She appeared as an actress in the movie ‘Valentine’s Day’ and narrated ‘The Lorax’. Swift is very concerned about her image and cares a lot about what her fans think of her. She likes to protect her image and make careful and wise decisions. She doesn’t let anything bad leak to the public. Her songs do a great job of reflecting what kind of person she is and for the most part have stayed the same style. So far she hasn’t made a huge change in her personality and surprised us with crazy music videos or rap songs OR twerking. She has high IQ Score a high level of public awareness, 90%, and popularity, 80% in the U.S. Taylor considers it her "responsibility" to be conscious of her influence on young fans. A Rolling Stone journalist who reviewed Taylor in 2009 said that: "If this is Swift's game face, it must be tattooed on because it never drops." The Hollywood Reporter refers to her as "the Best People Person since Bill Clinton." Taylor Swift is a very driven person. A 2012 Vogue cover story described her as "clever and funny and occasionally downright bawdy" in person. There has been a lot of media talking about Swift's surprised reactions when she is recognized at award ceremonies. Taylor is sort of shy when she receives her awards and tells media that she doesn’t know how people are so casual about it. Personally I think that Taylor Swift is a great role model to her fans and portrays herself the way she should.
