Mayday parade used to be known as an emo band that was very little known. They had their first splash 2006 on the Vans Warped Tour. “Traveling in a cramped van and getting little sleep, Sanders says the experience was "unbelievably tiring." But the long days paid off: By the end of the summer, Mayday had sold more than 10,000 copies of "Tales." Starting as kids fresh out of high school just trying to make it somewhere. Mayday parade is a punk bank in my opinion is now one of the biggest bands out there. They stand next to All Time Low, The Maine, and We The Kings. They can relate to anyone’s life and talk about almost every teenage goes through. One reason this band is my favorite is because they aren’t just another band who sings sappy songs and talks about how guys are bad people. They will switch it around and say “Girls will never listen or learn”, pointing out that guys aren’t always to blame for the “problems” in relationships and how girls are stubborn as hell. Now 2013 Mayday parade has another new album called Monsters In The Closet album sales have exceeded 600,000 while track sales surpass 3,000,000. There self-titles third entered the Billboard Top 200 at #12 in 2011. Since listening from their first album and now to their 4th they have changed in a good way. Maydays last album was one of their best ones yet so with their new album coming out no one knew what to expect. These guys from Tallahassee Florida prove they no matter what you look like or no matter how low you start from you can always make it somewhere is you keep trying. "We finally felt like one of the real bands on the tour. And we had a bus for the first time this year -- I can't tell you how much better that is than a van.” Says Sander. “The band members looked "filthy" when they arrived: "They hadn't changed their clothes and they clearly hadn't showered in a while.”, says Bob Becker.
