Born on September 27, 1982, Lil Wayne was born in New Orleans Indiana. Lil Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., although he is better known by I stage name Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne’s style of music is hip-hop/rap, writing his first rap only at the age of eight. His songs have lots of emotions that many people can relate to. When you listen to his songs it makes you think about the lyrics and how they relate to your own life, because his songs are about the problems people run into during their life. Some have to do with girl problems and drug problems. Being a rapper, he tends to sing a faster pace. Other artists such as Tech N9ne and Eminem sing at a fast pace like Lil Wayne. He’s differs to other artists such as Lady Gaga where her songs have and upbeat dance temp. Popular, being one of my most favorite songs has more meaning to it compared to his other songs, because this song was released in his newest album I am not a Human Being, which was released while he was in jail. He went to jail for attempted criminal possession of a weapon. Also, another memorable song was his first #1 hit song, Lollipop. Lil Wayne will be released from jail on this upcoming Thursday, November 4, 2010. The first thing Lil Wayne will be working on when being release from jail will be his new album Tha Carter 4. I most definitely agree with what the majority of critics say about Lil Wayne’s music. He is known as America’s most famous rapper. They also talk about how excited they are for him to be released and work on his new album. His album, I am not a Human Being was a hit with many new popular songs. Lil Wayne’s music is worth your time and money because it has real life meaning behind it and has good rhythm and beat.
