Cameron Jibril Thomaz or better known by his rap name "Wiz Khalifa" is a great rap artist blowing up this year (2010). He was born in north dakota and traveled throughout his child life because of his dad being in the military. In Pittsburgh he started a rap career and real eased his first mix tape in 2005 named "welcome to pistolvania". He continued realsing mix tapes from 2005 til 2010 where his most recent one called "kush and oj" got great review from fans and critics and blew him up.Most of the emotions in wiz khalifas songs are being laid back and chill he also raps about smoking.His first single "say yeah" released in 2007 was a great hit that also got him exposure. The single cracked the billboard top 100 and was made by sample deejay Alice "better off alone" beat. One song that is memorable to me is black and yellow because of its uptempo beat and catchy hook. It also has a tendency to stick in your head with the repeated chorus of "black and yellow".Also the music video to it is very nice and fitting of the song. Many critics say that wiz khalifa's best work came from the kush and oj mix tape which i agree with because it got him famous and there are about 15 songs on it all that he realsed for free, so it shows that he likes his fans and doesn't care to much about money. I think whenever wiz khalifa realases his album that anyone that likes rap should go buy it because he has a nice flow and his beats are usually pretty sick.He also was pretty unknown and worked hard to get known also most of his concerts are sold out so that shows that people are interested in his music so it must be worth listing to.
