In the movie Transporter, Ex-Special Forces Frank Martin, played by Jason Statham, is retired and is now living near the French Mediterranean who works as a mercenary or “transporter” that moves items from one place to another, no matter what the package with no questions asked. In his tricked out BMW, Frank has made up his own rules that he never breaks. Rule 1-Never change the deal, Rule 2-No names. Frank refuses to know who he's working for, or what he's transporting so that it will not come back and bite him in the butt. Rule 3-never look in the package. Frank then gets a job that seems no different from any of the rest of them. He's been hired by an American known only as "Wall Street" to make a delivery; but when Frank stops on the side of the street, he notices his package is moving. Frank broke his rule 3 and found something he was not expecting. Jason Statham does a really good job in any movie that has to do with driving. Many people recognize him from the movies Expendables or Death Race. He has the usual tough guy look in the movie and portrays Frank nearly perfect. The character Lai is played by Qi Shu, who has a quiet role for most of the movie but in the end she opens up and shows her troubled side. Frank is the type of guy that will do anything it takes to get the job done, it doesn’t matter if it’s from flipping a car, to shooting a guy, he will do it. The critics are saying that Transporter is going to being the beginning of a great series and will be an all-time favorite. Transporter is a great movie for anyone in the family.
