Media Log
1. On September 25th of this year I found myself getting let out at the bell around 3:03 and automatically switching my phone on to check my twitter timeline. I stay logged in to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram on my phone so though I was logged on to everything else I was only surfing on Twitter. As I rode the bus home to my friend’s house, as I stepped foot in my friend’s home, as we watched a movie called the Kite Runner, I never did not check my phone to see my twitter timeline. Sooner than later I ended up on both Facebook and Twitter and had several conversations with people from school and such. Soon I found myself on YouTube, having to wait 10 to 15 seconds as each ad passed on each video I ended up watching. Now it’s around almost 11 pm so I decided it was time to head home and got a ride home and when driving home I passed billboards and signs for advertisements’ for stores. Once I finally did get home I found myself watching a bit of TV until I dozed off but even as I watched TV there were several commercials’ on as well!
2. I feel as if my most frequent media exposures are news from stations like CNN, ABC, E entertainment, and epically NBC. As for social media, yes I find myself on there probably the most out of everything. I view social media as my chance to catch up with everybody I can’t just drive up to go and see but that is long distance and such so one of all the types of frequent media exposures that I think I’m exposed too it’d have to be social media and commercial’s for name brand labels and such.
3. I think I was exposed to high volumes of exposure at all times but especially when I’m out of school, as soon as that school bell rings it’s freedom for the electronics. As I am viewing my media log right this moment, I see that the most exposure I get all at once is when I’m watching TV and have my phone in my left hand as well, that’s where it’s the most powerful. Around 11 or 12 am I think for me is.
4. I’m a very good person at multitasking throughout the day. I can do many things at once, watch many things at once from different screens, I’m able to remember a lot so I think that’s where my multitasking does me well.
5. I feel like 79 percent of the time I am the audience, just chilling taking in whatever I’m hearing or watching and what not and around 21 percent or more at times the speaker especially when I’m making Facebook statuses or twitter tweets and such, I’m speaking to a platform of people and it’s all me on my own.
