The movie UP, created by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios won the Best Animated Feature Award in 2009. UP is an uplifting adventure that keeps you smiling. This movie is all about an elderly retired balloon salesman named Carl Fredricksen, who strives to fulfill him and his wife Ellie’s dream of going to Paradise Falls. Carl’s creative idea is to tie thousands of balloons to his house, which is his most prize possession, and fly there. Unexpectedly, a curious young Wilderness Explorer named Russell is along for the ride. Carl and Russell end up experiencing this whole adventure together, and realize that life’s biggest adventures may not be the ones you expected to take. The actors, Ed Asner and Jordan Nagai play Carl and Russell, the main characters in the movie. They did a great job bringing the movie to life in every way possible. The major theme expressed in this movie would be how the sky is not the limit. I agree with most of other critics reviews because they have about the same opinions in mind that I do. This movie is pretty much my favorite movie of all time, because of how cute it really is. I guarantee you will love this movie, just give it a try!
